Otsego Lake near Gaylord, MI

The following report was just received this morning from Bob Gray:

“Bill Cutting was driving by Otsego Lake near Gaylord and decided to check it out. He went into Otsego State Park located at the south east side of the lake and found that the ice was to the shore, he went our 15-20′ with a pipe and found good hard ice. He went to the local bait shop and was told there was about 10″ of ice on the lake and the only reason it wasn’t being fished was everyone is out of bait. There are cabins nearby for $99 a night that sleep 4. He plans to sail it this weekend ( I have company coming and may there Saturday, but will on Sunday).”

I will send this out via email as well. It may be our last good opportunity to get some good sailing in yet this season!
